December 2019

Happy New Year to all. Thanks to all of you that attended the Club Christmas party, we had a fantastic meal and get-together with great friends. I am looking forward to this new year.

Recently, I was contacted by a guy in Tooele who has quite a few World War Two Jeep parts and CJ parts. Apparently his father had rebuilt a GPW and an MB Jeep and these are the parts that he had left over. Everything from engines to axles. Get ahold of me if you are interested.

There are two shows coming up. One in Arizona (see the flyer on the last page of this newsletter) and one in California. George Spargen has info on the Arizona show ( The California show is sponsored by the Military Vehicle Collectors of California and is their annual, huge military swap meet. A great place to get parts and goodies that you have always wanted. As in previous years, I plan to attend as well Club members George Spargen, Ed Schoenfeld and Pete Park. I’m sure that there will be others as well. This will be the second year that the MVCC show has been held at the 49er RV Resort in Plymouth, CA. They plan to have a drawing for an entire new MD Juan Jeep kit. The kit is supposedly better than previous kits. Always a fun time. Take a look at the calendar in this newsletter for more info.

Also, I would like all to think about having personalized name tags made up with your name and the Club logo. Great to wear in parades and at shows.

See you at the 30 January meeting. As a reminder that your 2020 Club dues are due at this meeting. $15.00 per year. Such a deal!
