June 2013

- the meeting opened on time. The Pledge of Allegiance given by Ed Smith.

- An introduction was given for two new prospective members.

- An open discussion with Bill Abbott was started about joining the national MVPA. A vote was held and as of now, the club will not join.

- Ed Smith gave an excellent presentation on training with .22 caliber rifles during WW2 and the Korean War era. He brought 5 different vintage .22 rifles.

- New Business: it was agreed that the next meeting will be held at Station Park in Farmington Utah. Six members agreed to attend the car show. Members should notify the president if they want to attend and he’ll save a parking spot there.

- Seven members will attend the national convention in Portland Oregon.

- Fort Douglas Day was supported by 6 members of the club.

- The camping trip was a success. Members camped by the pet cemetery. Weather was rainy! Vehicles ranged over 75 miles and some neat wild horses were spotted during the trip.

- The President intends to form a committee to discuss joining the MVPA. Step up and volunteer, won’t you?
