Aug 2013

Welcome to the August 2013 UMVC Newsletter. Ron was kind enough to complete this newsletter while we find a replacement. So thanks again to Ron and he will be missed. If you think you want to tackle being newsletter editor, please let me know or talk to me at the meeting.

For those of you who attending our meeting at Farmington, there is another show there on Thursday, August 22nd. So if you want to show your vehicle, let me know or just show up before 6PM. I plan on being there, but have carpet being laid that afternoon in Ogden and so I might not be able to get there in time. Note, this is not a replacement for our meeting as it was before, just a fun event to attend.

Our next meeting is on 29 August at the Fort Douglas as normal and I have no clue as to what or if we have a presentation. So if we do, great. If not, we will have to wing it. I think Ruel was planning on another tune-up clinic, but I have not talked to him to see if he wanted to do it this next meeting. Also, I think Pete wanted to show some photos of the MVPA National Show that many of our members attended including me. If you have never attended, it is fun and a learning experience. So if we do not have another thing scheduled and Pete is ready and willing, maybe we can plan on his presentation. So if Pete, Ruel or if someone else planned on a clinic, could call me (I lost all my contacts), then I could de-conflict.

Thanks for all that you do
