Membership dues are $15/year but, visitors are always welcome! See our Schedule.

January 2016

Welcome to the first newsletter of the 2016 New Year. I hope that all of you had happy holidays with family and friends.

Things to note: Club annual membership dues are up for renewal at our January 28th meeting ($15.00); If you are a member or thinking about becoming a member of our national organization, the MVPA, (Military Vehicle Preservation Association), dues become due one year from the date of sign-up. As a member of the MVPA you will receive the following benefits: Access to the thousands of MVPA worldwide members via the “Members Only” section of the MVPA website; Quarterly copies of the organization’s ARMY MOTORS and Bi-monthly copies of SUPPLY LINE magazines; and two free classified ads in the SUPPLY LINE. If you are in need of parts for a restoration, a great way to find them is through the classified section of SUPPLY LINE.

Another great and highly recommended event not to be missed is this year’s MVPA annual convention to be at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton California located just north of San Francisco, California. The event is being brought to you by the Military Vehicle Collectors of California, the same club that organizes the spring and fall Lodi swap meets and MV shows.

We are always looking for people to do presentations at our monthly meetings. If you have an interest that you would like to share with the members please let me know and we will put you on the schedule.

Many thanks go out to all of you who show up at parades and shows with your vehicles. Your participation means a lot to both veterans and spectators. As always, thanks for your participation and support of our club.
